I can't find my phone

Immediately asks me to leave a message, does not ring so I can't make like sherlock holmes and find where it is hiding.

The plot thickens.  Got thru to SpeakOut customer support and somehow he turned OFF the quick auto answer to leave a message and now it rings 4 or so times before a message kicks in to say "the cusomter is not available".  Now I will need to see if I can find this hiding cell.

Hope you find it before it runs out of battery. Good luck!

Thanks I mite be getting closer.  It worked aka got to some menu but I am can't find WHICH menu option I need to change to turn the auto answer message OFF and just have my cell phone RING until I find it where it is hiding....

I found this from Speakout website:

To retrieve voicemail messages from a landline phone without incurring any charges to your SpeakOut account, dial your SpeakOut mobile phone number and press the pound (#) key when you hear the greeting. Enter your personal voice mail passcode and follow the voice prompts.

Worth a try to change the settings of your voicemail so you can call it. Good luck!

I am with 7-11 called "Speakout" but don't have a clue what system they use in Canada. I will try to call their support but it tends to be non-existent at the best of times.

Which carrier are you with? I believe some carriers may have a way to call your voicemail to change its settings.

not an android phone, it's an oldie Nokia...my friends call it a dumb phone that I only use for emergencies.

Hi dee cee. Is it an Android phone? If it is and you have access to a computer, try using Google's Find Your Phone to make your phone ring.
