While the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max have a lot in common, there are some key differences you should consider when figuring out which phone is best for you.
Most of the significant changes revolve around the phone’s cameras. The Pro Max includes the same Lidar sensor found in the iPhone 12 Pro. The sensor assists in taking high-quality low-light or nighttime photos viable without an expensive standalone camera. It also allows you to shoot in Apple ProRAW for more editing flexibility.
The iPhone Pro Max takes this one step further, including Sensor-shift Optical Image Stabilization whereas the iPhone Pro. This helps to reduce shaking and blurring and further improves night photography.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max also offers up to 12x digital zoom which is 2x more than the iPhone 12 Pro. This is another area where the image stabilization will help.
The display on the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is also the biggest screen on an Apple phone ever, coming in at 6.7-inches.
